Two Argentine brothers, Fernando and Santiago Aguerre, created Reef in the 1980s to create a range of flip flops and sandals to support their active lifestyles. Their footwear became popular amongst surfers and beach goers, subsequently becoming one of the world's leading active sandal manufacturers.
